West Greenwich preserves open land

From USA Today, Friday, April 28, 2006

Rhode Island: West Greenwich- Residents approved an $8 million bond issue that would help preserve open land in town and block a proposed housing development. The Nature Conservancy plans to use the money for three parcels totaling 1,566 acres. It's believed to be the most expensive open space bond issue ever approved by a Rhode Island community.
